A Guitar for Declan (September 15)

Declan had to leave his guitar behind
but dad made a trip to Agen and suprised him with a new one.
He was so happy that he slept with it.

Our very first visitors - Ward and Jen (September 9)

Waiting for the train...gee I hope they bring peanutbutter!
Here they come...

Lots of hugs
Sorry we had to make you walk from the train station.
hopefully we will have a car for the next visitors.

A group photo on the bridge.
Jen picked up a great fruit flan on the walk home.

Off for the weekend for a visit to Agen

Incredible buildings, streets, restaurants and shopping.
Wardo and Gordo having a morning cafe au lait. Now a stop for lunch,
and last but not least, a stop for ice cream.

Checking out the market in Agen

Every type of grape under the sun...
so this is why the wine is so abundant here.
Ward checks out the chicken,

while Gord gets his water bottle filled with wine.

It's the Garden Boy, Pool Girl & Pet.

The Gardener-He blends but if you look hard he's in there.
Cleaning the pool.
Who needs a dog!

It's Market Day

The girls are off to market.
Great food of all sorts.
Checking out the fish...
but not too sure about it...smelly!
Back home after a great market day!

A regular school day

Walking the boys across the bridge in to Aiguillon to go to school.
College Stendhal - which is Quinn and Zayn's school.
It was constructed in 1775 and once belonged to the
Duke of Aiguillon who resided there until he was beheaded
during the french revolution

The bridge leading from the village to our home

We walk this bridge everyday.
Our home is right near where the two rivers connect
(le Lot river and le Garonne river).
Quinn and Zayn looking for fish.
An "Ecluse" where the houseboats go through
the channel connecting le Lot to le Garonne.

More of Aiguillon

The house across the street from us
Plants soaking in the morning sun on a side street in Aiguillon
A side street close to the medieval quarter of the village
