Cahors is due east of Aiguillon in the Lot department.
Cahors landmark monument, the Pont Valentre, is
the most photographed bridge in all of France.

The bridge was built between 1308 -1360

The bridge has 3 towers and 7 pointed arches.

Declan checking out the fortifications that were apparently
attacked many times.

Kaz runs the cobblestoned bridge from
one end to the other.
We had the bridge all to ourselves.
