FEBRUARY - MALTA ***

Watch out Dad, Kaz is going to shoot you. Lovely views of the Grand Harbor enjoyed from
the Upper Barracca Gardens, originally built by the Italian Knights.

One of the many statues in the garden.
You guessed it, it is Sir Winston !

During World War II Malta withstood almost daily German and Italian air raids and was awarded the George Cross for heroism. Sir Winston Churchill fondly referred to Malta as a "tiny rock of history and romance".
