Many may not know that Avignon's "Palais des Papes"
was the Pope's official residence from 1309 - 1377.
The beautifully preserved medieval town is surrounded by its original fortified walls.
The Palis des Papes, a UNESCO site, is the largest Gothic palace in the world.
A couple of stray cats hanging out together at night!
