MAY-La Rochelle

May 17
La Rochelle is famous for its arched stone
sidewalks throughout its town centre.
We enjoyed lunch on the harbour front.
What could be better than traditional French baguette
and cheese on a beautiful hot & sunny day!
Ships carrying immigrants bound for Canada and other far
off places would have passed through these two stone towers.
The old Town Marie with its attention to detail.
We enjoyed lemonade and cafe au lait before heading home.
